Avatar frost

Avatar Frost is redefining what it means to create genreless music. Hailing from Charlotte, NC, he labels Jay-Z, The Beatles, Lamb, and Makaveli as his first musical influences. The Avatar’s vastly eclectic taste & upbringing places him in a league of his own when it comes to creating, writing, and producing his own brand of genre-bending music, “conscious hip-pop” (think Kendrick Lamar’s storytelling meets the production love child of Lupe Fiasco and OutKast). “Lyrical assassin” is the affectionate term used most often to describe his prowess by casual listeners and zealous fans alike.

Intro, the Avatar’s inaugural release from his upcoming debut album, ...there was a boy, takes the audience on an introspective trip through the human psyche with an electro-rock sampling of The xx. Floyd, the second release, is an enthusiastic amalgamation of hip-hop and acoustic-pop featuring a lesser known Coldplay sample.

2020 is shaping up to be Avatar Frost’s breakthrough year. Poised to ignite the next hip-hop revolution with its unapologetically cutthroat lyrics and sound waves from the future,
Mimosa, the first official single from ...there was a boy, was written about in The Source magazine, peaked at #86 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart, and surpassed 100,000 organic streams just 6 months after release with no signs of slowing down.
